Brighter and Still (EP) is a new, evolved sound coming from years of personal growth by each of the musicians that make up Kid Architect. While on their indefinite hiatus, there were multiple attempts to reconnect on a musical level, but with no success - the group had nowhere to call home. That changed in 2017 and the longtime friends that are Kid Architect decided to start writing again, just for fun, to see what kind of music they could come up.

Brighter and Still (EP) was the result. Carefully chosen from a set of musical ideas, these songs slowly took shape into what you hear today. There are many new musical influences that make up these songs and it can be easily heard. In short, this is the next step in Kid Architect's evolution: Blending elements of jazz into their world of piano-driven experimental rock.
